Well, not to forget, the Mercedes cabs are common in Germany. Even the Arabs like to sit in a Mercedes turned into a taxi. But the one we have got here would certainly result in an insult if we call it a cab. It is the Mercedes-AMG C43, a sports plus luxury car.

The AMG C43 is a derivative of the Mercedes C-Class. And previously it was known as the C400 4Matic. While the fourth generation C-Class retitled this car. Well, whatever name is given to this car, it would remain among the finest cars.

The Mercedes-AMG C43 came out in 2014. In a way, it got a new name in 2014. And since then we have seen this car rolling across Europe and some wealthy Asian countries. While the North American market received this model in 2017. And even its latest update was launched last year.

Well, the C43 is notably renowned for its sporty performance. Along with that, it remains a common ride for the higher executive class. While the recent improvements brought some minor changes to the mechanism and revamped some looks. Further, it is the performance variant of the Mercedes C-Class. The whole C-Class falls shy to this car.

The AMG-C43 gets a minimum price tag of $55,900. Equipping some amenities for the seating, attraction for the exterior or making it safer could make you go across $65,000.

A 3.0 L V6 bi-turbo engine comes standard. Further, this engine comes with 362 horses making 384 lb-ft of torque. While the track records surely make this car pronounced like a sports car. The C-43 can lap 0-62 mph within 4.1 seconds. Well, this is faster than a number of other flat 6 and V6 bi-turbo cars. But it certainly falls short to the hypercars. Ahead of that, the track best for C-43 is 134 mph. And it is not just the track best, it is even we tried on a straight cut in Germany.

Well, the C-43 is available in three body styles. The sedan comes standard and it is the cheapest of all. While the coupe and the convertible shapes take the top seat.

Ahead of that, the C-43 sedans offer to space for 4 including a driver. And even bring in plenty of space for the cargo. While the coupes and the convertibles do offer some seating space but they are a bit shy as well.

There are plenty of handy features included for the C-43. It gets a touchscreen infotainment system as a standard feature. Further, it gets the multimedia player, the radio system and the navigation. Ahead of that, there are a lot of optional features available for this car. In the entertainment section, you can get the Burmester premium audio System. But it is only available for the sedans. The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto stay optional as well.

Well, the Mercedes-AMG C-43 even gets some performance acknowledging features as well. Like it gets the Track Pace app which includes the lap timer, acceleration record, brake pedal movement, and the steering setting. It has been launched recently and it is only available for the iPhone users.

While the proximity keyless entry and push-button start are standard. Along with that the rain sensing wipers are even standard.

Just like the technological features, there are plenty of safety features available for this car. Some standard features include the collision preventer, driver condition assistant, crosswind assistant, blind spot monitoring, parking assistant and road signs recognizer. The passive safety column gets 10-way airbags, stretchable seatbelts and enforced body material. While the active safety gets the antilock braking system and the traction and stability control.

Some available driving dynamic features are Head-up display, tire pressure monitoring system, lane keeping assistant and the surround view system.

BMW M3

The BMW M3 is among the favorite competitors for the C-43. And since long they have been competing for each other. The M3 is not shy in racing with the C-43. But the Mercedes-AMG C-43 offers more comfort and luxury.

The Mercedes-AMG C-43 is a complete driving package. It houses luxury and performance both at one time. And even the base pricing is justifiable. But the top models are priced quite high.
